Cognitive peptide handbook

A guide to care questions

What is it?

Does it help?

Can I get it?

How do visits work?

What will I pay?

What could go wrong?

Getting a useful assessment

Who makes and sends the medicine?

Before you pay for the plan, get the complete name of the pharmacy involved. Keep it beside the health professional’s name in your notes.

Care facts as of September 2026.

Keep in mind

A service name is not enough. Find who prepares and who supplies the medicine, then check their records.

Why does the name matter?

The identity of the actual preparer can be unclear to someone buying a compounded medicine online, notes the U.S. drug agency, FDA.

A compounded preparation is medicine made or mixed for an order.

Ask who prepares it, who sends it and which name will appear on the label.

Where can I check the pharmacy?

A state board of pharmacy licenses pharmacies and keeps the official licence record.

You can reach the states’ pharmacy licence search tools through links supplied by FDA.

If your state has no licence record for the pharmacy, FDA’s advice is to avoid using it.

Finding the listing establishes that there is a licence. It cannot tell you whether the medicine was supplied properly.

What does FDA registered tell me?

Registration means a facility has submitted its details for an FDA list, not received approval.

As of September 2026, registering a facility or listing a drug does not mean FDA approval or lawful marketing.

Ask which registration is meant. Then keep the approval question separate.

What can I ask about the finished product?

What written information will arrive? Who explains storage? Which contact reaches a pharmacist who can answer you?

FDA says compounded products may lack important directions found with approved medicines, as of September 2026.

What can I take away?

A service name is not enough. Find who prepares and who supplies the medicine, then check their records.

What can I read next?

FDA: find a pharmacy licence record

A route to your state’s search. Read the record rather than relying on the pharmacy’s logo.

Find a state board of pharmacy

The boards’ association maintains this directory; the state board holds the licence record.

FDA: approval is a different claim

Use this when registered is being presented as if it meant approved.
