A guide to care questions

What is it?

Does it help?

Can I get it?

How do visits work?

What will I pay?

What could go wrong?

Checking the proof

Which sources answer which questions?

Pick the reading that matches your question. An official page can answer one issue while leaving another open.

Care facts as of September 2026.

Keep in mind

Match each source to its question. Leave a gap visible until it has an answer.

What is an agency page useful for?

Use the drug agency’s pages for what it says about approval, compounding and named concerns.

Use the relevant board record for a licence. Use the tax agency’s pages for health-account terms.

What is guidance, and what is law?

The medical-board policy recommends how online care should work. Each state sets the rules that can be enforced.

Use that policy to ask about the visit. Ask the service which state rule applies; a policy recommendation does not settle that.

What can an FDA letter tell me?

FDA warning letters describe allegations at a point in time; later exchanges may change an issue’s status.

FDA is the U.S. drug agency. Such a letter tells a recipient which problems the agency has identified.

An empty search result does not mean FDA has cleared a business.

What is still missing for the memory question?

These sources give this guide no study result confirming a memory or focus benefit in people. They do not settle whether another study exists elsewhere.

Ask anyone making that promise for the study in people, then ask how its findings match the offer.

What can I take away?

Match each source to its question. Leave a gap visible until it has an answer.

What can I read next?

What changes when a medicine is compounded?

FDA overview. Read for preparation, oversight and the limits of product review.

What does FDA say about a named ingredient?

The ingredient tables keep concerns about possible harm; a withdrawn request does not mean approval for compounding.

What did FDA staff say about Semax?

The briefing paper gives the staff assessment. It does not record the advisory panel’s votes.

What was published for the advice meeting?

At the September 2026 check, FDA’s meeting page had no official record of how the panel voted.

What does choosing medicine from a list leave out?

This is medical-board guidance on assessment and follow-up questions, while state rules remain the enforceable standard.

Where is the doctor’s licence record?

Medical-board directory. Open the state board’s site to check the individual record.

Where is the pharmacy’s licence record?

A licence listing shows a licence exists, without proving the medicine is supplied properly.

How can I examine an ambitious health claim?

FTC consumer guidance. Use it to question adverts, endorsements and broad cure promises.

What counts as a medical expense?

IRS expense guidance. Useful for the difference between a medical purpose and general wellness.
